Entrepreneurship Training
IIPCEL COMMENCES BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING FOR ALL YOUTH CORPERS IN PLATEAU STATE
The International Institute of Professional Corporate Entrepreneurship and Leadership, IIPCEL have started a unique partnership/collaboration with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to train all the current serving Youth Corps members on Business and Entrepreneurship as part of their Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, SAED programme.
The Director-General and Chief Executive (DG-CEO) of IIPCEL was on Wednesday 1st May 2024, at the temporary Orientation Camp of NYSC at WAYE Foundation, Dwei-Du to flag-off the program. In a fitting icing to the cake of the Workers' May Day Celebration, the DG-CEO emphasized the importance of Business and Entrepreneurship as the sole means of wealth creation, economic development, creation of employment and eradication of poverty in every society. He also enlightened the Corpers that irrespective of the number of Professional skills and vocational skills they strive to acquire, without Business and Entrepreneurship skills, they will continue to be job-seekers as Business success is only assured through a deliberate professional business and entrepreneurial skills training. He congratulated the first set of Corpers to benefit from this scheme and emphasized that the training will be continued and conducted in the 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau State during the Service year. In the nearest future plans are ongoing to expand the training across the 36 States and FCT thus covering the 774 Local Governments in Nigeria.
The training will be via classroom lectures, online and virtual through the Institute's dedicated Webportal www.iipcelglobal.org after which Certification and Induction will be conducted.
Furthermore, IIPCEL is in collaboration with government funding Agencies such as BOI, SMEDAN, NIRSAL, PLASMIDA and many other entrepreneurship-friendly banks to provide business capital.
It is certainly a golden era for entrepreneurial innovations in Nigeria and a bright future for our Youths who will become Entrepreneurs, Business-owners and employers of labour rather than job-seekers.
IIPCEL is the game-changer, it is the dawn of a new era for Youth employment on the Plateau and Nigeria in general!
